Review all 14 pictures and the short descriptions that go with along with them. Your assignment is to write down a few ideas on what kind of a short story you could write based on each picture.

Start with a blank piece of lined paper, and write Mystery #1 - The House on Maple Street. Jot down a few ideas - what would the story be about in one or two sentences? Don't spend too much time on each one - you have 14 of them to do!
